These management services are contracted for extended periods of time. The total expertise of the company is available to the client providing top-level management to even the smallest practice. The Health Management Systems' Administrative Management Services places a person in the practice on a regular basis similar to your own management employee. The practice has the assurance of continuity, high-level management expertise, and multiple management support levels to insure optimization of services. Management service clients have been exclusively medical groups in private practice.
SERVICE CONTRACTS:
Health Management Systems will enter into an agreement to provide management services for periods of not less than one year. Health Management Systems will employ a specific person or an existing staff member will be assigned to provide the direct day-to-day management functions. To insure that activities and priorities are achieved one or more of the principals of Health Management Systems will supervise the manager assigned to the practice. In instances where special expertise may be required of the practice manager all of the resources of Health Management Systems will be available to assist in accomplishing the objectives.
It is the Health Management System's philosophy that a practice manager should limit his or her activities to management, not tasks that can be accomplished by lesser skilled individuals. Based on this philosophy, in most instances, management of a medical practice can be accomplished effectively in significantly less time. Further, by utilizing a person with a higher level of management skill and experience, a task also can be accomplished more efficiently.
A practice can grow to require full time management presence. HMS staff is available to offer their experience, expertise, and multiple resources to insure continuity of management, greater levels of professional management performance and experience, and the opportunity to network within our organization to find solutions to problems.
Partial List of Prior Management Experiences:
· Obstetrics and Gynecology
SCOPE OF MANAGEMENT SERVICES:
Management services are diversified but routinely include complete redesign of office procedures as may be required, implementation or upgrading of internal computerized billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable systems. Internal and external communication systems are upgraded and we establish a formal organizational structure. Major emphasis is directed toward patient satisfaction to enhance physician income.
The role, responsibility, and guidelines for a medical practice senior manager is to identify the goals and objectives of the group, develop a plan to achieve those goals and to design a system to implement the plan for the future.
